MW LOGISTICA celebrates its 13th birthday by moving to a new modern office. In addition, the company launched logistics solutions for e-commerce.

On May 18, 2021, MW LOGISTICA celebrated its 13th anniversary. The team celebrated the holiday with a small party, and the anniversary is associated with a transition to maturity. The big celebration is planned after the upcoming move to the new office at 147 Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd., in the Inter Expo Center. The repair work has been completed, and it will open its doors at the beginning of June.

"For the last ten years, we have been housed in the Europa Trade Center, and it was difficult to make this decision, but it was also a logical step towards expanding and modernizing our vision", says Olga Vasilevska, third-generation freight forwarder, majority owner and CEO of MW LOGISTICA.

The new office is on the sixth floor and has a panoramic view of Vitosha. It is an open space type, with a spacious conference hall. In addition to business meetings, monthly team initiatives will be organized there. One of them is the already traditional meeting on health-related topics - "Health at Work". The company employs 15 people, and the team is constantly growing and is open to new experts.

The location of the office is highly communicative. Among the key advantages is that it is near the company's new warehouse, which opened at the end of 2019. The warehouse is located in the logistics base of MDL Universal at 425 Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd. It is fully equipped. The warehouse area is 1000 m2, with an additional cross-dock area.

3PL solutions for e-commerce

Concentrating on the so-called value-added services and given the rapid growth of e-commerce, the team started as an outsourcing service for logistics activities for online merchants. For this purpose, MW LOGISTICA has updated the operational software, which fully automates the process of control and tracking of warehouse stocks. The system is synchronized with that of the customers.

"Even with the move to the new warehouse, we tested and started offering 3PL solutions for e-commerce. We have been fully ready to serve online stores for a month and a half. There are a few specific processes here that are different from standard warehouse service. They are related to the consolidation of the software products of the electronic stores with the logistics ones. The commissioning process is also different", commented the CEO.

Comprehensive service is offered: storage according to the specific requirements set by the client, commissioning, preparation of all documentation, and routing shipments to end users with couriers. The temperature in the warehouse is between 5 and 20°C all year round, and products that do not require a specific temperature regime can be stored and processed in it.

"As with all our services, we approach this with a personal touch. We work very closely with clients. We know their administrative processes, requirements, and product range", said Olga Vasilevska.
